Teh Magik Wand

Todays was like Fridays. My partner and her friend wanted to go for a ride. So my partner and I got tacked up and off we went to teh arena with our friends. Its fun to ride with another horse...a mare at that.

So here we is, all tehese mares and mees, in teh arena. What's a gelding to do? Reba, teh mare, has tonz of smooth moves. She knows how to do everything with her rider. I has much regard.

I tihnk my partner was feelin' like maybes we shouldn't be shown up by these 2, so she grabbed her magik wand and all of a suddent we were walkings and trottings and bendings and even canterings. I has quite good looks. I has smooth moves. I has goes and stops, with no bits in my mouths that don't has good tastes anyways. I has skillz like tihs Reba mare.

I has pretty proud feelings. I tihnk my partner was proud too cuz she laughed and said somethin to her human mare friend about teh magik stick bringing out teh best in mees.

Ehh, human mares.

So we're back to being healthy here at teh barhne. So taht means we can get back to work.

It all started earlier tihs week when I offered to give a ride to my partner who has sadness about her doggy dying. I don't understand why humans get so upset about taht- tehy shouldn't at all. Horses know tihs, for sures. So to all teh horses reading, you know taht when your partner is upset, teh best tihng tp do is to not be an ass. Stand for groomings. Get ur hoofs picked out. Tehn take teh partner for teh ride. No funnie business eithers.

So I must've made a good impression cuz we went for anotehr ride todays. Tihs time my partner has no sadness. We has all bizness. I has extra energies for us but all we did is walk. Which is weird cuz last time my partner wanted me to trot and I didn't really want to.

We even shared teh arena with another strange horse. I has better manners tehn tihs horse.

I get teh sneaking suspicions taht teh trimmer is coming to do my hoofs tomorrow. About times!

Ernie Columbus, Part II

Hai Everyone!

As it turns out, tihs new place is not so bad. I has all teh foods I can eat and no horse can steal it. I also has a twin, but in a mare's body. We has stalls next to eachother, so we fools people coming by. Tehy think we're twins. Ha!

Yesterday my partner thought it was a good idea to start exploring teh place. because I has explorer tendencies, I accompanies her just in case she got scared by sometihng. To take her mind off it, we played a game- it was way easy. My partner found something to look at and I had to try to figure it out. When I figures it out, I put my nose on it to show her. Horses are very good at tihs because we can read minds. Human mares may try to stump you, but it never works. And since I put my nose on teh scary stuff, I show everyone teh thing is not really scary to begin wiht.

Taht's what being an explorer is all about.

Has real estate?

I has been fooled. Hey Ernie, come lives on 25 acres and has lots of time to play with mee my partner says. Okay, I says, tihs could be good.

Tehn the rains come down, and my partner goes right brain. So on Sundays she made us move to a new place taht has fake suns inside teh barn and lots of cover- almost like teh trees at teh Red Barn but stronger. I tries to be an ass and not go in teh trailer at first, but taht didn't work. Frank went in and I couldn't let him show me up. Ernie 0, Human Mare 1.

No more 25 acres for us. Now we has smaller space outside. Now I has to live with Frank. AGAIN. Teh good news is taht Faith is with me. Tehy tried to put her out wiht teh other horse mares, but I has a fit about it and tehy brought her back. Ernie 1, Human Mare 1.

I also has real estate. I has a stall, wiht a bucket for waters and a bucket for flavors. And hays too. I kinda like it. I gets to eat all my foods and no horses can steal. Teh humans bring everything to me. Ernie 2, Human Mare 1.

I also stay dry and warm during teh nite. I has my red sheet on too. Ernie 3, Human Mare 1.

I can get used to tihs.

Faith isn't so happies about tihs changes. She likes teh 25 acres. She was teh boss out tehere and now she has no one to boss in her stall. She has extra large real estate but i don't tihnk she really cares about taht. I give tehm a point each. Faith 1, Human Mare 1.
